The aim of Lagares Produccions de Disseny, as a company, is to create new designs in order to provide a bathroom in which all the elements are Lagares’. This is why the company has invested in design and innovation, creating a new model of toilet which is revolutionary, both because of its formal aspect as for its technical features. A toilet which includes three basic elements in its composition: maximum hygiene, minimum water consumption level and being embeddable within any space. The toilet is contained within a small box which remains completely hidden while it is not being used. It is not anymore a fixed piece of the bathroom, becoming rather an element which resembles more a cupboard than a traditional toilet. In this way, we make the most of the space in the lavatory through a radical, new conception of this piece. We can also change its location and place it anywhere we want. This toilette great contribution to ecology comes from its reduced water consumption, 2,5 liters versus the 6-9 liters commonly used in a conventional toilet. The new toilet is, therefore, a sustainable element that meets a basic current need, which is to reduce the consumption of water. It is an element absolutely indispensable today, which can be now seen as a novelty in the new Lagares showroom in Fornells de la Selva, in Girona, Spain.
